What does health and safety mean for Greiner? Employees explain why they are committed to a healthier lifestyle and how quickly carelessness can result in serious consequences.
A trapped finger, chronic back pain, a cut: We will never be able to rule out accidents and injuries entirely – but we can do our best to avoid them. To mark the annual World Day for Health and Safety at Work, we discussed these issues with employees at our sites in Fort Worth, Texas, and Monroe, North Carolina. Watch now!
To give 11,500 employees the best possible long-term support with their health, we have set ambitious goals at Greiner. We aim to reduce the frequency of serious work accidents by 50% by 2025 (compared with 2018). So far, the level has been reduced by 16%. In addition, all our sites worldwide will be introducing measures for healthcare in the year ahead in order to create the best conditions in our workplaces. You can find out more about our performance in occupational health and safety in the 2020 sustainability report.
