Greiner Professional Program (GPP)
With the Greiner Professional Program (GPP), the company offers graduates and career entrants a chance to gather experience at both national and international locations during a period of 18 months. In line with the training and interests of the participants, three specialist courses are available (take a look at the possibilities):
- GPP – International Business
- GPP – Information Technology
- GPP – Digitization Management
Following an introductory phase at group headquarters in Kremsmünster, the focus switches to involvement in operative business within the respective specialist areas. Responsibility for part-projects or special assignments is then assumed and once the program has been completed, a specialist function with a high degree of personal responsibility awaits every participant. At Greiner, an apprenticeship or an apprenticeship with a university entrance qualification represents the start of a highly promising professional career. All in all, the Greiner companies in Austria are currently coaching over 130 apprentices in a variety of professions.
The Training Center at the Greiner Campus in Kremsmünster is the pivotal point for all apprentices in Austria during their first year of training. Apart from solid, basic vocational instruction, social competence is also promoted through capabilities such as teamwork skills, the correct handling of money, communications, safety and health consciousness. At the start of the second course year, teaching takes place largely at the training company, although for follow-up coaching the apprentices regularly visit the Greiner Training Center.
Naturally enough, everyone deciding to undertake an apprenticeship must have an opportunity to experience taster days in his or her future surroundings. Therefore, Greiner offers interested school pupils a possibility to look around in their future training company. Every year, topics and projects are defined that are allocated to school pupils and students for seminars and dissertations.
In addition, Greiner also offers internships to both pupils and students. Opportunities exist in production, the technical and commercial areas, and also with regard to project participation. During the award of internships, a special focus is placed on the education and initial practical experience of the applicants. Those that undertake an internship and demonstrate a willingness to learn and motivation have a good chance of receiving a post at Greiner once their education is completed.
