Primarily, the general conditions in the workplace and the fringe benefits and therefore Greiner attaches special importance to basic and further training, social responsibility and human values. Via facilities such as the Training Center and the Greiner Academy, as well as cooperation with universities, colleges of applied science and the Kremstaler Technische LehrAkademie (KTLA), the group offers its personnel in every area opportunities for top quality basic and advanced educational.
The Greiner Academy is an interdivisional institution, which prepares (junior) managers for new challenges. An important aspect in this regard is the promotion of creativity and inventiveness. Consequently, apart from numerous modules on specific themes, the following focal point programs constitute the nucleus of basic and further training within the Greiner Academy: Business Basics, Business Advanced and the General Management Program (in cooperation with the LIMAK Austrian Business School).
The compatibility of professional and family life is a major Greiner concern. Accordingly, since 2003 a company nursery has been available for employees’ children at the Kremsmünster (Austria) location. In 2011, this facility was enlarged and now offers 24 places, which are open to both Greiner personnel and the general public. In May 2019, the modern Greiner Campus office and training center was opened at group headquarters in Kremsmünster. This incorporates superbly equipped workplaces, open workspaces, the Greinerei bistro, which offers freshly cooked regional cuisine on a daily basis, and a garage with parking for 188 cars.
