Dominik Greiner has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Greiner AG on June 14, 2023. He was the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board prior to this. He is being succeeded in this role by Andreas Ludwig, previously a regular member of the Supervisory Board. Margret Suckale has joined the Supervisory Board as a new member.
Dominik Greiner is a member of the fifth generation of the Greiner family of owners. He is also the owner and managing director of Camouflage Ventures GmbH, which is active in venture capital investments and company building. In addition to his activities on the Supervisory Board, Dominik Greiner is also a member of the Family Council and on several advisory boards of Austrian venture capital funds and incubators.
Andreas Ludwig has been a member Greiner AG’s Supervisory Board since 2015. An economist and legal scholar, Ludwig has many years of industry experience in executive and management positions, for instance at Umdasch, Zumtobel, UBS Investment Bank and Tyrolit Schleifmittelwerke Swarovski, in addition to several other supervisory board mandates.
Margret Suckale was elected to Greiner AG’s Supervisory Board as a new member. She will contribute experience from her supervisory board mandates at Infineon, HeidelbergCement, Deutsche Telekom and DWS. She was also a member of the Board of Executive Directors and Labor Director at BASF, and before that the Board Member for Human Resources and Services at Deutsche Bahn. She was also President of the Employers' Association for the Chemical Industry. Suckale studied law in Hamburg and completed postgraduate studies at the WHU Vallendar/Kellogg School of Management in Illinois (USA) and at the University of St. Gallen.
Erich Gebhardt, who had chaired the Supervisory Board since 2015, has resigned after 22 years on Greiner AG’s Supervisory Board due to age. Gebhardt was a Director at Daimler-Benz AG from 1999 to 2021.
The members of the Supervisory Board of Greiner AG are now Dominik Greiner (Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Board of Family Owners), Dr. Andreas Ludwig (Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board), Dr. Regine Hagen-Eck, Dr. Nico Hansen, Jakob A. Mosser, Christoph Greiner, Gerald Schinagl, Margret Suckale as well as Florian Huemer, Georg Kofler, Markus Rohrauer and Ernst Zimmermann as the employee representatives.
