Greiner AG has named Axel Kühner and Jürgen Kleinrath as the new interim leadership team for its foam division, NEVEON.
Kühner and Kleinrath will carry on the work of Oliver Bruns, who had headed up NEVEON’s operational business since July 2020. Among other things, Bruns was responsible for implementing the strategic combination of the six business units that formerly constituted Greiner Foam under the new NEVEON umbrella brand. He leaves the company by mutual agreement.
“We would like to thank Oliver for his service during a challenging time, dominated by the coronavirus pandemic. Oliver has played a decisive role in the reorganization and development of our foam business over the past 21 months. I would like to wish him all the best, good luck, and every success in his future endeavors,” says Axel Kühner, CEO of Greiner AG.
Kühner is joined on the interim NEVEON senior management team by Jürgen Kleinrath, the former chief commercial officer of NEVEON. The two will act as cochairs of the foam division with immediate effect.
As the former CEO of Eurofoam, Kleinrath, who has been on the NEVEON Executive Committee since the beginning of last year, is well acquainted with the foam business and will bring this expertise to bear in his new role.
“Jürgen Kleinrath has played a major part in NEVEON’s positive development. Above all, he has the professional and personal leadership qualities that we need as we look to the challenges ahead,” says Hannes Moser, CFO of Greiner AG.
