Pride Month: At Greiner, everyone is welcome!
As a global company, we constantly promote our culture and set a good example: everyone is welcome here!

Last June, we wrote about why Pride Month is so indispensable. Greiner has a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy in place for almost a year, in which we clearly state that sexual orientation must not play a role in our company. We are also committed to addressing potential inequalities in connection with the LGBTQ+ community. This is because the legal situation of the LGBTQ+ community remains difficult in 15 of the 33 countries in which we have sites. Although same-sex sexuality is legal in most of these countries, same-sex marriage is still not possible everywhere. In addition, many countries do not have comprehensive anti-discrimination laws that protect the community.
As a globally active company, we therefore endeavour to do our part to continuously develop our own culture and set an example for others: because everyone is welcome at Greiner! Our task in the coming years will be to bring our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy to life and to ensure that everyone at Greiner has the same opportunities - regardless of characteristics such as gender, age, background, religion, social status, mental and physical abilities or sexual orientation.
As an international company, diversity management must take into account the challenges faced by the individual countries. We have therefore introduced a new target for 2023 that requires the individual commitment of all company locations: All 118 Greiner locations, regardless of their size, will implement at least one Diversity, Equity & Inclusion measure per year from 2025. This will enable us to take a local and targeted approach to the respective challenges.
In addition, with the kick-off of our Group-wide diversity network greiner.for.all, we have taken a further step to promote an open and cross-divisional exchange between colleagues at Greiner. We firmly believe that equal opportunities and an inclusive corporate culture can only be realized together - all 10,500 Greiner employees in all their diversity are what make us successful, strong and innovative.
